| SAP E-Commerce Software Developer |

The SAP E-Commerce Software Developer reports directly to the SAP E-Commerce Lead and is primarily responsible for the development of web and e-commerce systems solutions for SEC business units that includes designing and implementing solutions using SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal 7.0 and SAP E-COMMERCE (ISA) for mySAP ERP2005 on SAP NW 2004s. This individual is responsible for many phases of a project life cycle including analysis, design, development and deployment of software solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for timely delivery of system solutions to business problems.
* Formulates appropriate procedures/processes.
* Develops technical standards, ensures compliance and may provide technical leadership to the software development team.
* Assesses, applies and implements new technologies on assigned projects.
* Responsible for tracking individual project tasks and meeting required deadlines.
* May function as liaison with SEC business units during feasibility, functional analysis, and development and implementation phases of a project.
* Conducts presentations to client audiences and professional peers and communicates with colleagues, management and SEC business unit(s) on requirements, problems, project status and issues.
* Oversees development and organization of databases.
* Undertakes related duties as assigned.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
* College degree with major in computer science, business administration, or other technical field preferred (may be substituted by appropriate experience).
* Minimum 5-7 years experience in systems development and support.
* Excellent Web content and design technology skills with solid knowledge of Internet standards and protocols, and cutting edge interactivity.
* Strong experience with designing and implementing solutions using SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal 7.0 and SAP E-COMMERCE (ISA) for mySAP ERP2005 on SAP NW 2004s.
* Strong experience with B2B and B2C.
* Software development background is essential with expertise in object-oriented analysis and programming using development languages including J2EE and ABAP. Exposure to HTML, XML, ACTIV-X and VISUAL BASIC.
* Experienced in full software development life-cycle, with strong familiarity of SAP component-based programming environments using NetWeaver Development Studio.
* Experience with SAP SD and MM preferred.
* Experience with NWDI source control.
* Strong troubleshooting & support skills.
* Very disciplined in documenting tasks, procedures, test scripts release notes etc.
* Documenting, prioritizing, troubleshooting and fixing production errors of B2B system and communicating the same to business users.
* The ideal candidate will have skills in both Web design and Web programming. Experience developing commercial Web sites or developing E-commerce sites would be ideal.
* Strong level of professionalism expected.
* Candidate must be self-motivated to learn and implement new technology solutions and must be deadline driven.
* Desire and ability to assist colleagues in a team-oriented way to develop new technical knowledge and skills.
* Solid understanding of network/distributed computing environment concepts.
* Knowledge and experience in managing, developing and deploying RDBMS-based business systems using Oracle and/or MS SQL Server.
* Outstanding leadership and team building skills, including strong problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Individual must be very detailed and be able to multi-task.
