| Sr. Director of Sales- National Accounts |

Under the direction of Vice President, the Sr Director of Sales is responsible for recruiting, training and supervising the National Account Managers for his/her distributional responsibility. The Sr Director is also responsible for sales, profit & BP goals of the National Accounts under his/her jurisdiction and to implement all division and corporate policy for the National Accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Establish sales strategies & tactics within assigned key accounts.
· Propose initiatives leading to significant increases in account SKU share.
· Plan, direct and coordinate the activities of the field sales force to achieve budgeted sales goals.
· Monitor the performance of field sales force and take corrective action as necessary to provide continual upgrading of both.
· Work with the division Vice President and other division personnel to analyze, evaluate and develop sales and marketing strategies for the Division to improve sales volume, profitability and market share.
· Responsible for growth planning by account, category and model in partnership with the accounts and product & marketing group.
· Attends and participates in the PSI meetings and reports on previous month’s sales, inventory and future needs for all customers under his responsibility.
· Responsible for category and model forcasts by account.
· Participates in and/or presents sales and marketing programs to assigned national accounts.
· Conducts long range studies of changes in distribution and recommends to the Vice President an action that would improve the distribution of the Division’s products.
· Monitors the travel itinerary and related expenses of the field organization to assure the most productive and economical use of their time and company funds.
· Responsible for the effective communication and execution of all Sharp policies and programs to the management of each account and National Account management team.
· Maintain the lines of communication from the Vice President of National Sales to the field sales force and vice-versa.
· Develops & submits MDF $ budget, by account & monitors NAM/account utilization of these funds via an account “checkbook”.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
· A minimum of eight years consumer product sales experience.
· Three plus years of sales management experience.
· In depth retail experience preferred.
· Possess a bachelor’s degree in business, management, sales or the equivalent thereof.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
· Experience leading a sales team.
· Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft office software.
· Must possess a high level of energy, integrity & execution skills.
· Extensive domestic travel is involved to all National Accounts.
