| Product Specialist |

The Product Specialist is responsible for assisting internal and external customers with problems or questions concerning Sharp products. Under the direction of the Manager, the Product Specialist is responsible for overall product training, in depth operational support, and for establishing and maintaining close relationships with SEC, SSG and outsource vendors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and conduct detailed product knowledge training to include troubleshooting to all assigned staff.
Responsible for productivity and quality of assigned staff.
Facilitate efficient day to day department operations.
Monitor ACD objectives.
Handle escalated customer issues.
Monitor and provide coaching to Customer Support Specialists to ensure quality information is provided to customers.
Communicate regularly with various departments within SEC and SSG.
Research and review data to provide accurate reports to various departments within SEC and SSG including Marketing, Product Planning, Product Safety and Quality Assurance.
Obtain equipment to provide operational troubleshooting of products to Customer Support Specialists.
Handle departmental responsibilities in the absence of the Manager.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
College degree or three years related job experience.
Possessing strong leadership/supervisory and training skills in a consumer related field.
Some travel required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
